Improving on the 30+ yr old OEM design, our RB26 Valley Cover includes convection cooling vents, a reduced rear flange to accommodate the popular R35 Coilpack conversion harness, and a cleaner design to replace the hole left by deleting the Ignitor box (another benefit of R35 Coilpack conversion). Protokraft recommends PRP R35 conversion brackets.
Protokraft Vented RB covers ship with OE spec hardware- M5(0.8) black oxide cap screws with M5x16 aluminum standoffs for ease of installation and flush fitment.
Designed to visually harmonize with an OEM plus aesthetic, produced to OE spec tolerances, fit, and finish. Prepreg dry carbon construction means optimized resin to carbon ratio, highest strength and lowest weight of any carbon construction. Autoclave cured prepreg method is the same as used in aerospace and F1.
